Rather than focusing on time management, the key to high performance lies in optimising our energy to increase our capacity to do more, and do better, in the same period of time.

My top 3 takeaways:

  • Maximise energy (not time) to maximise performance.
  • Energy capacity diminishes with both overuse and underuse, thus we must manage our energy by balancing energy expenditure (activity) with energy renewal (rest or an energising activity).
  • Designing highly specific routines and positive energy rituals for maximising and sustaining energy, including intentionally planning moments for energy renewal into your routine.

What I will incorporate into my life:

  • Conduct a review & rebalancing of energy (physical, mental, emotional, spritual) on a quarterly basis, and adjust existing rituals or set up new rituals in the 4 dimensions of energy.
